A small family operation, Electric Spin Enterprises is located near Lafayette, Colorado, north of Denver and approximately 30 minutes from the Denver International Airport. The barn and pastures house the horse operation while the design division operates from the home office nearby. Dave and Jenn Leiker hope you will drop by for a visit when you’re in the area.
Jenn graduated from the Equine Program with an Associates degree at Olds Agricultural College in Olds, Alberta in 1996, specializing in breeding and training western performance horses.

Over the next nine years she apprenticed and trained reining horses in Texas, Austria, Alberta and Colorado. She started showing more consistently in 2001 and earned an RMRHA Year-End Limited Open Championship, NRHA Mountain States Affiliate Finals Limited Open Reserve Championship (tie), and an RMQHA Junior Reining Year-End Reserve Championship. She is an AQHA World Show qualifier and multiple AQHA and NRHA class winner.
Jenn decided to leave full-time training in early 2003 to pursue a career in graphic/web design, with an eye toward establishing a home-based business within the horse industry. After a two-year hiatus from training and showing on a regular basis, she began to divide her time between design work and the training & marketing of Electric Spin-owned performance horses. This has resulted in the establishment of Electric Spin Enterprises.

In 2005 Jenn began working toward cow horse competition with the help of trainers and friends Jim and Jill Cook (www.jandjcook.net), earning a few open class titles before receiving her non pro status in 2007. Now with 15+ wins since their debut in the spring, she and Callys Classy Tang are currently ranked at the top of the NRCHA Non Pro Bridle and Novice Non Pro Bridle national standings. Jenn looks forward to spending more time in the NRCHA show pen, especially in the aged events and Bridle Spectaculars.
Dave Leiker is a firefighter and fire protection engineer by trade, and he likes exercising the horses with Jenn on weekend trail rides in the greater Boulder area. A former competitive team penner, Dave now rides the horses for enjoyment as time permits. He is also great at keeping the facilities in top shape!
