One of the first questions I ask a new customer when they contract me to build a web site or design anything in print is, “Do you have a logo?” The reason behind this is simple: a custom logo is where good design starts.
Think about the instant recognition of the swoosh on a certain brand’s athletic shoes, or the “Golden Arches” of your favorite french fry spot. A logo, used consistently and often, breeds a familiarity with your company and its particular offerings. It creates a connection that’s almost subconscious.
A custom logo also gives your operation a professional look and feel. On the side of your rig, on the cheekpiece of a custom bit, on business cards, on baseball caps in your colors, on the sign in front of your barn - a custom logo lends that little extra bit of class. It establishes you as someone who takes their image seriously.

In the design of your actual advertising materials, the logo is a jumping-off point. It should be relatively simple; perhaps incorporating your livestock brand or a familiar image of your event. It will contain two or three key colors and distinct fonts which can be used again elsewhere in your materials. Your logo will be relatively simple, so that it doesn’t compete with the actual ad or web site design, and looks good at any size or in black-and-white/greyscale. Logos are appropriate for farms & ranches, standing stallions, equine organizations, and any business or product. I also work with “non-horsey” entities, as you can see in my logo portfolio.

When you decide to purchase a custom logo design from Electric Spin Enterprises, we'll work together to develop a final product you’re thrilled with. I’ll ask you to come up with three descriptive words that best represent your business or the image you want to project. Then I’ll present you with a first draft, in color and black-and-white, and we’ll go from there. Some folks fit the very first logo they’re presented with, while others have needed several different versions or even complete redesigns to find just the right look. The point is, I’m not happy until you are... so you can be assured that you will end up with something you love.

After your account is paid in full, you will receive two copies of a CD-ROM with approximately 16-32 files of your logo in several different formats (plus a PDF document explaining when to use which type of file). I recommend that you make copies of the CD and simply hand one to your embroiderer, decal company, etc., and let them select the preferred format.
What about rights to ownership of the logo? Electric Spin Enterprises considers you to be the legal owner of your finished design. At no time will you have to worry about copyright issues with me. I want your satisfaction and your referrals! The cost of a custom logo from Electric Spin Enterprises is $175, with a $25 discount if you purchase logo design with any other service. If you'd like to see more samples of custom logos, please view my online portfolio.
Design can begin with a 50% deposit, payable by personal or business check. I look forward to hearing from you and helping to develop the professional image of your business.
